This was designed to take away people's desire or urge to hurt others with knives, swords, daggers or any kind of sharp objects. Knives have their merrits, however they become weapons when people are not in the right state of mind. The hope here is that when someone feels like they want or need to hurt someone, love can overcome that feeling, and the desire to cause harm to others can be taken away.
Throughout history, people have used weapons such as knives, daggers, swords and scabbards to fight wars, battles, settle conflicts, express anger etc. Often people are even inadvertantly hurt as well. I made this drawing in hopes that people use them wisely and safely instead. (Such as for cooking or sculpting.)
